Another fantastic two weeks spent with my surrogate Nepali family in the hills of eastern Nepal. This is the time of year when everything is wet and green and growing and alive. Even the seven-day puran ceremony (performed one year after the death of my friend’s Father-in-Law) was celebratory, colorful, and joyous–culminating in the lighting of Lakh Batti (100,000 Lights, literally).
While I continue working on getting the new website published with complete, high-res galleries of all my recent travel photography, here are a few teasers for you.
