Amigos!
After a too-long delay, Fargo has been updated with a new transmission (i.e. new chainring, chain, and rear cassette) and I’m about to set out on a gorgeous, butt-kicking, high-altitude ride.
Early tomorrow morning I will decide whether I should take the bus north to the Colombian border to begin the complete Trans-Ecuador Mountain Bike Route, or to “only” do the more strenuous middle section: Los Tres Volcanes (The Three Volcanoes). Follow the link for route deets and gorgeous images.
Upside to Los Tres Volcanes (LTV) is that the official starting point, in Pintag, is only about 32 km from my front doorstep in Quito.
