Medellín: Colombian Birthday

Buenos días desde Colombia, queridos amigos…

As usual when I arrive in a new location, I spend time wandering aimlessly—to see what I can see. Yesterday was no different. I can already tell you that Medellín’s El Poblado district is chaotic, full of life, colorful, and wild. Also friendly, inviting, and easy.

During my low-key outing—stopping often for Colombian espresso—I focused on seeing, rather than documenting, my neighborhood. Nevertheless, it seems obligatory that I share a few images today, as a way to kick off my birthday celebrations.
