Two Weddings and a Funeral II

And…Wedding #2, in the nearby village of Gogane–about an hour’s walk from Kot.

I took almost 2000 pictures in the space of six hours, and was dragged from family to family and room to room both as a guest of honor, and as a photographer to document the event. Once again I was blown away by just how much I’ve been accepted and assimilated, and by the level of trust and openness shown to me here.

This place is paradise, folks. As good as it gets.
